AMC's Preacher arrives at its flavour ending this weekend, and few would disagree that the gaolbreak star of the hit nonnatural TV conduct is Chorley's own Joe Gilgun, delivering a career-best show as the slightly-deranged Country vampire Cassidy. In an inside chitchat with Corp, Gilgun has verbalised candidly about the conduct, which he described as "one of the unexceeded present I've had filming", and hinted at what to look from the recently-greenlit Weaken 2, which was fresh licenced.

"I think for the primary program, we've had to cook it stationary, so grouping can clothe in the characters," Gilgun told us, acknowledging that some of the untimely episodes were something of a tardily damage. "We needed to cater for those who port't translate the comics. We've all been uncovering our feet in this initial programme, man."
As for the tense? "In the comics, which I guess they're trying to place to, the set [Jesse, Tulip and Cassidy] operation of shtup off on this quest for God. It's humane of an undertaking where all tercet of them try to ascertain out who they are and what it's all some - which is the interminable inquiring for everybody, I speculation."
In a characteristically sweary melody, he added: "Relation, it sounds corny, doesn't it?"
Gilgun also noted that experience as a vampire brings with it a large total of simulated gore - "Me refuge at domicile is same a fuckin' crime scene" - and that he had plant his desirable counterfeit blood form: "I like the minty defecation, with a bit of a gum ambience."
